Maladies infectieuses de tous les animaux domestiques, mammifères ou oiseaux, souvent aigües. Elles sont dues au colibacille, Escherichia coli, bactérie saprophyte de l'intestin, qui devient pathogène si des causes favorisantes apparaissent. Les formes de maladies sont diverses : forme endotoxique, forme diarrhéique, forme septicémique (colisepticémie), etc.
Often acute infectious diseases of all domestic animals, mammals or birds. They are caused by the colibacilla, E. coli, an intestinal saprophytic bacterium, which becomes pathogenic if there are favourable causes. The disease can take several forms: endotoxic, diarrhoeal, septicaemic (colisepticemia), etc.
