Maladie contagieuse du porc qui résulte de l’attachement de Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae (bactérie) à l’appareil mucociliaire, engendrant une toux chronique sèche et quinteuse sans autre signe clinique. La présence de cette bactérie chez les animaux affaiblit leurs défenses naturelles, les rendant sensibles aux surinfections bactériennes et virales.

Contagious swine disease resulting from the attachment of Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae (bacterium) to the mucociliary escalator, generating a dry and fitful chronic cough without any other clinical sign. The presence of this bacterium weakens the animal natural defences, making it susceptible to bacterial and viral infection.
