Dermatose généralisée du porc causée par une bactérie, Staphylococcus hyicus. Plus fréquente chez les porcelets allaités ou récemment sevrés, cette pathologie peut entraîner jusqu’à 90 % de mortalité en cas de septicémie et de déshydratation. L’infection se produit à la suite de lésions provoquées par des coupures et des plaies associées aux bagarres entre animaux.
Swine generalized dermatosis caused by a bacterium, Staphylococcus hyicus. More common in suckled or recently weaned piglets, this pathology can cause up to 90% mortality in cases of sepsis and dehydration. Infection occurs as a result of cuts and wounds associated with animal fights.
