Non transmissible toxi-infection caused by the toxin of Clostridium tetani, which is inoculated as a result of an injury. The disease is common to humans and domestic animals, especially horses and sheep, sometimes pigs, cattle, goats, dogs and cats and results in nervous signs which can be deadly.

Toxi-infection non contagieuse causée par la toxine de Clostridium tetani, dont la spore a été inoculée à la suite d'une blessure. La maladie commune à l'homme et aux animaux domestiques, cheval et mouton surtout, parfois porcs, bovins, chèvres, chiens et chats se traduit par des signes nerveux et peut être mortelle.
