Contagious parasitic disease due to a cestode which adult tapeworm (Taenia solium) lives in the intestine of man. The cysticerci larva (Cysticercus cellulosae) is responsible for swine ladrery. It is asymptomatic in pigs, and leads to slaughterhouse seizures.
Maladie parasitaire contagieuse due à un cestode dont le ver adulte (Taenia solium) vit dans l'intestin de l'homme. La larve cysticerque (Cysticercus cellulosae) est responsable de la ladrerie du porc. Elle est asymptomatique chez le porc, et entraine des saisies d'abattoir.
