CD79
A transmembrane heterodimer consisting of B-cell antigen receptor complex-associated protein alpha chain (CD79A) and B-cell antigen receptor complex-associated protein beta chain (CD79B). CD79 is expressed almost exclusively on B cells and B-cell neoplasms and its presence is useful in the differential diagnosis of B-cell neoplasms from T-cell neoplasms or myeloid neoplasms. [ ]
