Swi3p
Nuclear Swi3p is an 825-aa, 93-kD general RNA polymerase II transcription factor component of the SWI/SNF nucleosome/chromatin remodeling complex involved in global transcriptional activation of induced gene expression. This complex alters chromatin structure to facilitate binding of gene-specific transcription factors. Swi3p contains a MYB-like domain and interacts with the N-terminus of SNF2.
