Pre-miRNA
The pre-miRNA is an oligoribonucleotide intermediate of nuclear transcription that is further processed cytosolically by the Dicer enzyme to form 20-25 nt mature miRNA products. Such RNA intermediates, typically 65-110 nt in length, form stem-loop structures that play an important role in the processing of these oligonucleotides to the mature miRNA form. [ ]
