Definition
- A physical quantity given by the volumetric flow of a liquid feed entering a catalytic reactor divided by the volume of the undiluted catalyst bed in this control volume; the quantity must be given in the unit 1/hour. The liquid flow rate is typically expressed at the operating conditions of the feed unless otherwise specified.
